Inspired by the ethnic folk music of Eastern Black Sea Region in Turkey. I wanted to share this very dynamic music style with other people by incorporating into my own style. It is played by finger and wrist movements close to flamenco tunes, with my own interpretations. I tried to capture a string instrument's sound character; it is called "kemence" which is a kind of a primitive version of violin and belongs to this region in the world. |
