Perfect for listening or meditative background. I love the tone of the drums. I have never heard drums like this before. Sounds like tabla extended into an orchestra. Wonderful little melodic riffs. At times the drums set a pattern for the sax to blow over. At times it seems like the two instruments are trading lines. Great rapport between the 2 virtuoso musicians. And a wonderful exotic feeling. Makes me want to return to Djibouti (and I've never been there!)

Hey, this is some good stuff! I'm listening to "Night of the Lotus" right now cause the name made the track sound good even before I started listening to it. I don't listen to Jazz that often, but this track made me change my mind, I just might get into this sort of thing! I really liked how it started out with just the drums cause I didn't know what to expect. Then I heard the sax kick in and it flavored the whole track since. Keep up the great work! -Max aka Synthead, www.ic-musicmedia.com/synthead

"Passage to Djibouti"..... very interesting song.... I am delighted that the instruments are very clear... I can see the images in my mind what you meant with this song. Thanks for it! Kris
