"excellent music and perfect moods for the slowminded. "drop" is somewhat incredible and overally i'm totally digging these songs here. good going, more please!"
Blaustich is the most calm and title track of the 2002 drum 'n' bass album. It was meant to find a relaxing but mystic athmosphere, strengthened by the use of tabla drums, bended choirs and breaths and some undefined backround noises. Everything is lead by the beat which is quite breaky and unusual in comparison to the more tech step oriented other tunes on the record. The bassline is also somewhere in the subfrequencies so being played loud for the dancefloor, the track gives some nice vibrations to everybody in around.
A relaxed groover with a bit a dark taste. Some very delayed, chilling vibes against some kind of bended sine melody and a moving square bass. The triphop beats are straight and kicking, at some points even a bit overdriven. The mid part gets really dark with distant vibe melodies and whispers and ambients until everthing is getting resolved into a mellow groove and sounds again. Dubby tension.
